Finally, the 2018 Winter Olympics are here. And, of all the athletes competing in PyeongChang, 31 of them are from Colorado. 6 of them are from, or live, in the Vail Valley: Tess Johnson (Freestyle Skiing), Jake Pates (Snowboarding), Meghan Tierney (Snowboarding) and, of course, Mikeala Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn. As well, Mikey Testwuide (who was born in Vail and began to hone his skills at Dobson Arena) is playing hockey for Korea. Good Luck to all of U.S.A.’s winter athletes; but, especially, to all of those representing the Vail Valley.
Opening Ceremonies are on NBC tonight, beginning at 6 p.m.
